Jabuti Labs

Terms of Use and Sale

Last updated: October 25, 2026

In short: you pay once for an app, on your TV or your Mac, there is no subscription, and you have 14 days to change your mind. You pay through Kiwify, with Pix or a card in Brazil and with a card from anywhere else. Our Mac apps are sold by us and also by Apple on the Mac App Store. Our apps are independent and not affiliated with Google, LG or Apple.

1. Who we are

Jabuti Labs ("we", "us") is an independent app developer based in São Paulo, SP, Brazil. When you use or buy one of our apps, your agreement is with Jabuti Labs. You can reach us at contato@jabutilabs.app.br.

2. Accepting these terms

These terms apply to our apps, including Photos on TV ("Fotos na TV"), Veracard, Wakeful, Extracta, DiskOrbit and Convert Anything, to this website and to any purchase you make from us. By installing, using or buying an app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the apps.

3. The apps and your licence

4. Prices and payment

5. Refunds

You can ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason, as described in our refund policy. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer law, including the right of withdrawal under Brazil's Consumer Protection Code (art. 49) and the consumer laws of your country.

6. Your albums and other services

7. Fair use

You agree not to:

8. Intellectual property

The apps, this website, our name and our logo belong to Jabuti Labs. Buying an unlock gives you a licence to use an app, not ownership of it. The photos in the demo album are in the public domain; their sources are listed in the app.

9. No guarantees

We work hard to keep our apps running well, but we can't promise that they will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, or that they will work on every TV model or with every album. The apps depend on your TV, your network and third-party services such as Google Photos. Veracard's results describe how a card or drive behaved while it was being tested; a card that passes can still fail later, so keep copies of files that matter. DiskOrbit's advice on what is safe to delete is guidance: you choose what to delete, and it goes to the Trash first. As far as the law allows, the apps are provided "as is".

10. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim related to an app is limited to the amount you paid for that app. This doesn't limit any liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.

11. Suspension and termination

We may deactivate an unlock or stop serving you if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if a payment is reversed or charged back, or if we have reason to believe a purchase was fraudulent or puts the security of our services at risk. You may stop using the apps at any time.

12. Changes

We may update these terms, for example when we add an app or a payment method. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes don't take away what you have already paid for.

13. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protections that the mandatory laws of your country give you, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
